Their debut single "A Moça do Além" became an instant hit, mixing surf rock with Brazilian elements. They released albums like "Surf Solidão" in 1966 and "Surfin' Samba" in 1968.
They kept recording through this period, putting out songs like "Bird Man" and "Born To Die In Berlin."
By the early 1970s they had albums like "O Tempo e o Vento," and tracks such as "Can't Seem To Make You Mind" and "Crummy Stuff" showed their range. Their blend of surf rock and tropicalia left a distinct mark on Brazilian music of that era.
