I met a girl with a lip tattoo. She looked skinny as a rail in those high heel shoes.

She's got a spot above Webster Hall. Claims to run this town with her hair in a ball.

She was small town girl USA, hell, her daddys bagging groceries, living day by day.

I know she knows it ain't her place. Shes tired of that living and the same clichés.

Now She's the first in her family to hold a degree and her mommas waiting tables down At Ruby Tuesdays. & I aint saying that at all like its mean, cause her momma probably taught the girl damn near everything.
