We´ve Turned Into Saints

…And thus there broke the plagues

Through the cardinal points that take in the Earth,

And unloaded their filthy presents

Over those that hoped they would never be damned,

Thus the Vatican got crowded with rats

That reduced the opulence to firewood

And gnawed with lust its foundations,

So was how they freed us from the greed.

And raised to the sky to dwell on the right of God

They jumped towards the sky turned into saints.

Thus the locust infected the churches and chewed with hunger

The Holy Habits and the Sacred Forms, the Chalice and the Wafer,

They slipped deep inside the icons to fertilize them

And were painted in luxurious chapels spiritualized.

With their unfolded wings and their compounded jaws,

So was how the desert locust turned into saint.

It was time for a new dawn in which to settle the accounts

It was time for split water seas and of cities set on fire.

The disinherited took up their arms

To pay back on the same bloody coin

The first world that had bleed them dry…

And they left us the starvation,

The doom and all that we have though

That was theirs by designation.

Dignity rose up as our world gone

One day a huge threatening finger

Turned up right from the sky,

Aimed at the world with contempt:

"Don't fear me, sons from the earth,

I've came back to put you all in your place

I will reward to those who try out the faith

Of the word, day by day".

And so was that the shameless wealthy,

The corrupt rulers and The Heretic…

Turned into saints.
