The Hills Have Eyes formed in 2006 with Jake Haro on vocals, Sam Perry and Eric Denham on guitars, Mike Ledezma on bass, and Matt Foster on drums. Their debut album 'Bloodlust' came out in 2009, followed by 'The Beast Within' in 2012 and 'Days of the Damned' in 2015.
Their song 'For You It's a Bloody Day' became something of an anthem for their fans. The band's music often dealt with graphic and violent themes, which sometimes drew criticism while others appreciated the direct approach.
Lineup changes happened over time - Ledezma left in 2014 with Haro taking over bass duties, and Foster was replaced by Chris Stewart on drums in 2017.
