When I Come Down

I lie awake - don't know why I laid down

I can't sleep counted backwards

down to zero

we're still embraced I can feel you breathing

I see your pretty face

gently resting on your pillow

Let's fly away

and float above the clouds

half kissed by the sun

I never wanna come down

and all I need

is to drift a little further

but she's the only one

who will be here when I come down

I watch the clock

the minutes tick away now..

in front of me

following a steady tempo

there's no relief looking out the window

the light beams

are shining a burning yellow
