The Merseyboys were a Liverpool group who put out a version of "All My Loving" in 1963. They had Billy Kinsley on vocals and guitar, Bobby Thompson on bass, Jimmy Maguire on drums, and Pat Malone on guitar.
Like a lot of Liverpool bands at the time, they worked in a crowded scene. They faced the usual financial pressures of trying to make it, and there were some internal tensions as they went along.
At one point, there were questions about who actually wrote "All My Loving." The band also dealt with some legal issues over contracts and copyrights, which didn't help matters.
