The Moog formed in 2010 with Ethan James on vocals and synthesizer, Alice Carter on keyboards and vocals, and Jack Davis on drums. Their debut album 'Anyone' came out in 2012, featuring the title track that became one of their most recognizable songs. They followed it with 'Echoes' in 2017 and 'Shadowlands' in 2020.
Their music included songs like 'Panic' and 'Never Hide!' alongside the more melancholic 'Goodbye' and 'If I Died.' The band's synth-pop sound carried James's distinctive vocal style through these tracks.
Alice Carter left the group in 2015. The Moog hasn't performed or released new music since around 2023, though their earlier albums remain available.
