Archive material and source history

The Orange Man Theory formed around lead vocalist David Moreno, with Marcos Nieto on lead guitar, Javier Moreno on rhythm guitar, Carlos Fuentes on bass, and Pablo Ramirez on drums. They released their debut album 'El Poder Brutal' in 1998, which included the track 'El Poder Brutal (The Devil Is Made Of Rock).' That song became something of a calling card for the band's hard rock sound.

They followed with 'SueƱos de Metal' in 2001 and 'Resurrection' in 2005, then put out the double album 'Apocalipsis' in 2010. Other songs in their catalog include 'Gavino Is Back In Town,' 'Gimme Some Goat,' and 'Satan Told Me I'm Right.'

Their lyrics and stage presence sometimes drew criticism from conservative groups, who accused them of promoting violence or devil worship. Their fans tended to see them more as a symbol of rebellion. The band kept playing through that noise.
