The Pleasure Fuckers formed in Los Angeles in 1981 with Mark Sink on vocals, Ron Reyes on guitar, Jack Grisham on bass, and D.H. Peligro on drums. Their debut album '30 Seconds' came out that same year, featuring the title track that became something of a calling card. Peligro would later play with the Red Hot Chili Peppers but returned to the band in 1988.
Their shows sometimes ran into trouble with authorities. In 1983, after a concert in Los Angeles, Reyes was charged with inciting a riot for allegedly encouraging the crowd to confront police.
They recorded songs like 'Captain Igloo,' 'Gin Blossoms,' and 'Massacre En El Disco Bar' before disbanding in 1984. There were brief reunions in the 1990s and 2000s, but the main stretch of their activity was those early 1980s years in LA.
