The Razorbax formed in Philadelphia in 1989, with Danny "Razor" Reed on vocals, Jimmy "Jinx" Johnson on guitar, Mark "Maggot" Malone on bass, and Mike "Animal" Murphy on drums. Their sound was raw from the start, and they didn't seem to mind if it rubbed some people the wrong way.
In 1995, they put out an album called "Better Place." The title track became their most recognizable song, a straightforward rock anthem that connected with listeners. It's still the song people mention first when talking about the band.
