The Riot Before formed in Los Angeles in 2014, with Tommy Lee and James Decker as founding members alongside bassist Adam Lohrbach and drummer Kyle Griffin. Their debut EP 'Sick Leave' came out the following year, followed by a self-titled EP in 2016 that included the song '5 To 9.'
In 2018 they released their first full-length album, 'White Noise.' The band's lineup changed over time, Griffin left in 2017 and was replaced by Jake Sommerfeld, and Decker departed in 2019. Lee, Lohrbach, and Sommerfeld have continued as the core members since then.
