The Stills formed in Montreal around 2003 with Tim Fletcher on vocals and guitar, Dave Hamelin on guitar and vocals, Ryan Malloy on bass and vocals, and Olivier Corbeil on drums. Their debut album 'Logic Will Break Your Heart' came out in 2006, featuring the radio track 'Lola Stars and Stripes.'
They followed with albums like 'Without Feathers' in 2008 and 'Oceans Will Rise' in 2010. The 2011 song 'Allison Krausse' drew criticism for its lyrics, leading some stations to pull it from rotation.
After lineup changes that saw Malloy and Corbeil depart, the band kept recording, putting out 'Past the Midnight' in 2014. Other songs in their catalog include 'Changes Are No Good' and 'Animals + Insects.'
