The Third Rail formed in New York City in the late 1990s as a trio with guitarist and vocalist Arturo Vega, bassist John Conte, and drummer Adam Chludzinski. Their song "Run, Run, Run" became an early hit for them. They released albums like "Run, Run, Run" in 1998, "Step Up" in 2001, and "Fire and Rain" in 2005.
Conte and Chludzinski left the band in the early 2000s, but Vega continued performing under the Third Rail name with other musicians. The band eventually dissolved in 2010.
