That song got them a deal with Capitol Records, and their debut album "Rhythm and Thunder" followed.
Their sound had a straightforward R&B feel, with songs like "Seductive Lady Luck" and "She's on Fire Tonight" showing their knack for simple, catchy hooks. They put out a few more albums in the 1970s, including "Turn It Up" in 1973 and "Get Down" in 1975, before things got quiet.
