A Lisbon trio that blends indie rock with electronic and folk touches, finding platinum success at home before reaching wider audiences.
If you're new to them, start with 'Rest My Head' and 'Be There Tonight.' They give you a good sense of what the band does well.
They're one of those Portuguese bands that managed to break through internationally without losing their local sound. 'Be There Tonight' from their 2018 album 'The Garden' got them noticed outside Portugal, while 'Rest My Head' shows their knack for blending indie rock with electronic touches. Their debut 'Self-Portraits' went platinum at home, which doesn't happen often for indie acts in Portugal.
They formed in 2014 with Vasco Ribeiro Casa, Mariana Mira, and Ricardo Vasconcelos. After 'Self-Portraits' went platinum in Portugal and 'The Garden' expanded their reach, they left Sony Music in 2019 before returning with 'Holy Ground' in 2021.
