The Waverlys formed in Nashville in the early 2000s with Sawyer Hayes on lead vocals, Emily Carter on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ethan James on lead guitar, Jasper Knight on bass, and Luke Anderson on drums. Their first album, 'Won't Come Home,' came out in 2005 and gave them their breakthrough with the title track.
They released three more albums over the next decade: 'Chasing Shadows' in 2008, 'On the Edge' in 2011, and 'Unbound' in 2014. The band took a brief hiatus in 2012 but returned to recording and performing.
