Everyday that passes by

I realise I’ve left behind

The old me was paralyzed

And I’m proud to be rid of the deadweight

Crushing my back

Binding my feet

I’ve learned to be more than me

Time has spoken, I wont hold on.

I won't hold on to the petty things

Why can't you see without obscurity?

On the brink, I'm on the brink of war

Trapped with recycled visions

Of unintended victims

Of my sterile thoughts

Of my insatiable dysphoria

I am only a man

We all breathe in the same goddamn air.

Burdened by my own cowardly plea

I saw no light

I refused to see that this is just not me
