The Witness Protection Program formed in Los Angeles in the late 1990s. Their 1999 album 'Stoneseed' included the song 'Pearls To Pigs,' which got some radio play on alternative rock stations. They had a debut album called 'Shed My Skin' in 1996.
Guitarist Mike Mushok left the band in 2003. They put out two more albums after that, 'One More for the Road' in 2005 and 'The Roseville Tapes' in 2007, before calling it quits in 2009. Another track of theirs, 'Piledriver,' appears on some of their releases.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
