The Wonderboys were a Brazilian band active in the 2000s, known for mixing electronic dance music with punk rock and Brazilian rhythms. Their debut album came out in 2004 and included the track "Cansei de Ser Sincero," which became a breakout hit for them. Other songs from their catalog include "Casa Amarela," "Eu já entendi," and "Não Pertenço a Ninguém."
The group was centered around Benjamin Katz and Mauro Henrique, both from São Paulo. Katz handled vocals and fronted the band, while Henrique worked with synthesizers and drum machines to shape their electronic sound. Their live shows were noted for being energetic.
After their first album, they released several others like "Waiting in Line" in 2006, "Walk on the Wild Side" in 2008, and "Black Magic Music" in 2011. The band stopped working together around 2013.
