Rainy days ain't so bad

The light on in the window's

Something that we ain't never had

To guide these wandering feet

Back to some place they barely met

Crossing foreign lands and smoke

In hand your cigarettes

Far from home and Lord you know

I just want to look my best.

I'll call you late at night to find out

How very cold it gets when im gone

Hang a lock upon my door

And brave another crowded hall

And another crowded floor

Just to dance would be so nice,

But between my drinking and my sleep

To save your self the time

To find that liquor store
