The Youngsters formed in Stockholm in 1998 with Maja on vocals, Erik on guitar, Johan on bass, and Robert on drums. Their debut album 'VEM' came out in 2000, and the title track became a hit.
They followed it with albums like 'Aldrig' in 2002, 'Händerna' in 2005, and 'Eld' in 2008. In 2006, Maja stepped away for a while to focus on her mental health, and the other members worked on side projects during that period.
Maja returned in 2009, and the band went back on tour. They've put out more albums since then, including 'Livet är en gåva' in 2012 and 'Vi är alla människor' in 2016.
