The Zephyrs formed in Los Angeles with Juliet Rose on vocals, Ethan Hayes on guitar, Oliver Reed on bass, and Mark Jenkins on drums. They released their first album 'A While' in 2005, followed by 'Zephyria' in 2006, 'Distant Horizons' in 2008, and 'The Lost Chord' in 2010.
Their song 'A While' became a breakout single, and other tracks like 'Watercolour' and 'Murder Of A Small Man' showed their style. Rose's lyrics often dealt with love and loss, which some listeners found emotionally heavy.
The band faced internal conflicts and creative differences during their time together. Despite these challenges, they developed a devoted fan base who connected with their music.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
