TheGust formed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with Mariana Volker on vocals, Felipe Ventura on guitar, Bruno Chelles on bass, and Lucas Bocci on drums. Their music pulls from pop, samba, and funk, though the early reaction to that mix wasn't always warm. They put out their first album, 'Manual,' in 2016.
