Thiago Atomic

Thiago Atomic formed around frontman Thiago Danieli, with Fernando Nassif on guitar, Chico Barreto on bass, and Dudé on drums. Their debut album in 2008 was called 'A Canção Que Eu Precisava Ouvir,' which also became the title track and one of their better-known songs.

That first album established their sound, which pulls from indie rock and pop while keeping some Brazilian rhythmic elements. Other tracks like 'Eu Não Merecia, Mas Ele Me Escolheu' and 'Farol Das Almas Perdidas' show the band's range from straightforward rock to more atmospheric, reflective material.

They've released several albums since, including 'O Mundo É Nosso,' though the details on those later records are thin here. The band's early years involved the usual indie struggles with money and industry skepticism, but they built a following that stuck with them.
