After 'Memórias,' he released his first album, 'Memórias de um Sonhador,' in 2017. That was followed by 'Retratos' in 2020 and 'Histórias' in 2022. He has worked with other musicians, including Gilberto Gil and Ivete Sangalo. In 2018, there were some accusations of plagiarism over a song called 'Amor de Verão,' but those were later dismissed.
He performs with a band that includes Bruno Almeida on bass, Ricardo Farias on drums, Pedro Oliveira on percussion, and João Carlos on keyboards. Soujes has also been outspoken about politics in Brazil, which has drawn both support and criticism.
