Thunder Force formed in Germany in the early 1990s with four members: Marius "Warrior" Lechner on vocals, Markus "Mätti" Matzner on guitar, Stefan "Eddy" Eder on bass, and Thomas "Tom" Spielbauer on drums. Their debut album "No Life 'Till Death" came out in 1994, and its title track became one of their most recognizable songs.
They released several albums through the 1990s and early 2000s, including "Metal Warriors," "Legends of Thunder," and "Steel and Fire." In 2005, drummer Thomas Spielbauer left the band, and they continued with a replacement. Other songs like "Shadowmaker" and "Silence in Darkness" appear in their catalog.
Thunder Force toured in Europe and played shows with bands like Iron Maiden, Motörhead, and Judas Priest. They kept recording and performing after the lineup change, putting out albums like "The Last Crusade" in 2004 and "No Mercy" in 2010.
