Archive material and source history
Thunderstorm formed in the early 2000s with Luke Hawthorne on vocals, Ethan Blackwood on guitar, and Marcus Stone on drums. Their debut album 'Thunderstruck' came out in 2005, followed by 'Forever' in 2007. That second album included the track '... Forever', which became one of their most recognizable songs.
Their music drew some criticism for being heavy, but they kept making the kind of rock they wanted to make. At one point they had to redesign their logo after some people thought it looked like a Nazi symbol, which they denied was intentional.
In 2010 they released 'Redemption', which had a darker feel than their earlier work. Other songs from their catalog include 'Ascension', 'Dark Knight', 'Dreams of Steel', and 'Fortress of Fear'.
