He worked with producer Rick Bonadio on his debut album 'Eu Sou Assim,' which led to his version of 'Renúncia' becoming his most recognizable song.
'Renúncia' was written by Marcos Valle and Paulo Sérgio Valle, and Marques's take on it connected with listeners. He also recorded other songs like 'Dê-me Seus Olhos' and 'Olhe o Céu.' In 2015, he was arrested for drug possession, which brought some public attention. He later released an album called 'Amanhecer.'
