He left the group in 2014 to pursue a solo career. His debut solo album 'Ainda Bem' did well on Brazilian charts, and he followed it with other albums like 'Tô Achando Que É Amor' and 'Vibe'.
In 2023, Tiaguinho released the single 'Piseiro da Pop100,' which moved away from his usual samba and pagode style toward the newer piseiro sound. The song became popular in Brazil. He has worked with other Brazilian artists including Ivete Sangalo and Alexandre Pires.
