Tiãozinho e Alessandro

Tiãzinho (born Antônio Carlos de Souza) and Alessandro (born Alessandro da Silva) met as teenagers in the Capelinha neighborhood of São Paulo. They started playing together in 1992, performing at local festivals and bars. Their sound mixed sertanejo, forró, and pop.

In 1997, they released their debut album, which shared its name with the track "Coceira de Bem Querer." That song became a national hit. Other songs from their catalog include "Fui Dando Porrada" and "De Carona na Felicidade."

Their partnership drew public attention beyond the music. Rumors about their personal relationship circulated, which they denied. They were also known for speaking out on social issues, including LGBTQ+ rights, which sometimes brought criticism from conservative quarters.
