Ticiane de Jesus grew up in Salvador, Bahia, where she sang in local choirs and absorbed the Afro-Brazilian rhythms around her. She worked on her voice mostly through self-study and performing at neighborhood events, since formal training wasn't really an option.
In 2014, she connected with producer Carlos Eduardo Cunha, and they made her debut album, which included the song 'Ticiane.' That record got her noticed more widely in Brazil. Some of her other songs from that time are 'É diferente' and 'Descansarei.'
Her live shows were known for being pretty energetic. As she became better known, the attention on her personal life seemed to increase, which became its own kind of challenge.
