Tiger Thug

Tiger Thug came together in Los Angeles in the early 2000s, a quartet made up of Lyric, Styles, Killa, and Savage. They worked out of that city's hip-hop scene, building a sound that eventually caught attention with their 2006 track "Fuck Boys."

That song became their calling card, a blunt anthem that sparked debate. Some critics heard misogyny in its lyrics, while the group argued it was meant as an empowerment track for women dealing with manipulative partners. Regardless of the reading, "Fuck Boys" got heavy radio play and landed high on hip-hop charts.

Beyond that single, they put out other tracks like "Ride or Die" in 2007 and "Hustle Hard" in 2009. Lyric handled most of the writing, Styles was the frontman, and Killa produced their beats.
