Tigerweather formed in Los Angeles in 2015 with Ethan James on vocals and guitar, Emily Carter on bass, Max "Shark" Williams on drums, and Anya Petrova on keyboards. They put out their debut EP 'Chasing the Void' in 2017, which included the song 'Sunshine.'
In 2019, allegations of sexual misconduct were made against Ethan James, who denied them. Emily Carter left the band in 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.
They released a second EP called 'The Edge of Infinity' and a full-length album titled 'Ashes to Stardust' in 2023.
