Time Force

Time Force was a Detroit electro-pop band in the 1980s, fronted by vocalist Donna Dee. Their song "Love Me In The Heat Of The Night" became their most recognizable track. The group released three albums between 1986 and 1990, starting with their self-titled debut.

Donna Dee's stage presence and the band's synth-heavy sound drew attention, though some critics were skeptical of their approach. Their lyrics and performances sometimes sparked debate, but this seemed to amplify interest in their music rather than diminish it.

While they never replicated the commercial reach of "Love Me In The Heat Of The Night," Time Force maintained a following through the late '80s. Their records have since been rediscovered by listeners interested in that era's electronic pop sounds.
