Tinted Windows was a band that formed in the late 1960s with members Rick DeSarno, James Huff, and Michael Lloyd. They signed a record deal in 1970 and released their self-titled debut album that same year. The album's lead single "We Got Something" became their biggest hit, reaching the top of the charts.
Their second album came out in 1971, followed by "Letter to Jenny" in 1972 and "Yesterday's Goodbye" in 1974. While their later work didn't match the commercial success of their debut, songs like "Back With You" and "Can't Get a Read On You" showed the band continuing to write and record through the early 1970s.
In 1973, their manager Bob Marcucci was involved in a financial scandal that affected the band's momentum. They released one more album after that before fading from the spotlight.
