Tinto formed in Barcelona in 1986 with Josep Maria Sanz (Loquillo) on vocals, Sabino Mendez on guitar, Josep Ramon Mestre on bass, and Juan Ruiz on drums. Their debut album 'El Ritmo del Garaje' came out in 1989 and included the single 'Dame'.
They released several albums through the 1990s, including 'Hombres' in 1991 and 'Cardiopatías' in 1996. Other songs from their catalog include 'Es Que Tu Te Vas' and 'Morena'.
They put out 'Con elegancia' in 2000.
