Tito Fechine formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1960s with Tito Fechine on vocals and guitar, Larry McDonnell on bass, Mark Humphrey on drums, and Randy Dodge on keyboards. They put out their first album 'The Ride' in 1969, which included the single 'Easy Ride.' That song got some radio play and became what people remember them for.
They followed up with a couple more records like 'Spiro Agnew' in 1970 and 'Son of Spiro' the next year. There was also a live album from the Troubadour in 1972. Their sound had some blues and folk mixed in with the rock, and they wrote other songs like 'I Miss You' and 'My Lady' that showed up on their releases.
By the early 1970s they'd put out a compilation called 'The Best of Tito Fechine,' and that was pretty much it for new material. The band's run was fairly short, but 'Easy Ride' stuck around on classic rock stations for a while after.
