Tito Luz formed in São Paulo in 1997, originally called Grupo de Luz. The band started with guitarist and vocalist Tito Franco, bassist Marcelo Farias, and drummer Baroni. They put out their first album 'Em Coma' in 2000, which included the title track that became something of an anthem.
Over time, other musicians like guitarist André Jung and keyboardist Beto Lee joined the lineup. Another song people remember is 'Tende Bom Ânimo'.
The band worked with some notable Brazilian artists including Cássia Eller, Arnaldo Antunes, and Zeca Baleiro. They kept recording through the 2010s, putting out 'Um Lugar' in 2010 and 'Tudo Vai Ficar Bem' in 2018.
