T.O.K formed in Trinidad and Tobago in 1996 as a trio: Craig "Craigy T" Robinson, Alex "Shal Marshall" Martin, and Jerome "Flexxx" Anthony. Their name stood for "Touch of Klass." Their debut album, "My Crew, My Dawgs," came out in 2001 with songs like "Chippin'" and "Sweetie." The 2005 album "Carnival Vol. 1" included "She's Hot," which got heavy radio play internationally.

Flexxx left the group in 2007 to go solo, and T.O.K continued as a duo. They've released other albums like "Carnival Vol. 2" in 2008 and "Back 2 Da Future" in 2016. Some of their tracks, including "Chi Chi Man" and "Hands In The Air," have drawn criticism for explicit content.

Their music mixes reggae, dancehall, and soca. Beyond "She's Hot," songs like "Inna Mi Bed" and "Galang Gal" show their style. They've won CARICOM and S.O.C.A.
