Archive material and source history
Tony Hadley sang lead for Spandau Ballet, a London group that came up in the early 1980s new romantic scene. Their first album was 'Journeys to Glory,' and his voice was a big part of their sound. He was born in London in 1960.
After Spandau Ballet stopped working together for a while, Hadley put out music on his own. Some of his solo songs include 'Never Give Up On Love' and 'Maybe You And I.'
Spandau Ballet got back together in 2009 to tour and record again. Hadley was part of that reunion.
