Too Late the Hero formed in Banbury in the early 1980s, with Martin Degville moving on from his time in The Membranes. They put out their first album, 'Music Is a Spy,' in 1982, followed by 'Valhalla Avenue.' The band's sound had a post-punk feel with some goth and new wave touches.
