They had other popular tracks including 'The Edge (Is Where The Action Is)' and 'Heartbreaker,' which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Johnson's outspoken persona and the band's rebellious image sometimes drew criticism, and they faced rumors of drug-related issues that contributed to a temporary split in the early 1990s.
