Geboren aus Zwietracht, Dummheit und Neid,
Brachte er über die Zwerge das verdiente Leid.
Der Riese machte aus dem einst schönen Land
Eine Wüste der Verlorenen,
Gehüllt in ein Totengewand.
Die Sonne schwarz, in der Nacht keine Sterne zu sehn,
Begannen die Zwerge Gott im Himmel anzuflehn.
Doch über den Wolken existiert das Paradies nur im Traum.
Planeten und Gestirne im leeren Raum.
Geblendet von Macht
Lief der Riese in die heilige Falle.
Jeder für sich und Gott gegen alle!
Eintracht zog ein im Land nach dem Tod des Riesen.
Die Sonne erstrahlte wieder
Über saftig grünen Wiesen.
An diesen Tagen war die Sonne nieder
Im Land am Fuße des Berges.
Der Riese war nur der Schatten eines Zwerges.
Es lauern die Gnome im Dunkeln
Und ihr Verlangen nach Licht ist groß!
Ihre stärkste Waffe ist die Dummheit der Herden
- Gnadenlos!
