His songs like 'Ben Kötü Biri Değilim' and 'Korkuyorum' often deal with love and loss, set to a mix of folk and rock sounds. In 2015, a track called 'Küfür' drew criticism for its language and themes, but Işıklı kept writing in his own style.
He has put out four albums, including 'Yalnızlık Senfonisi' in 2010 and 'Dünya Benim' in 2016. The music stays grounded in personal themes without much polish or grand production.
