Tr3s de Corazón formed in Monterrey in the early 2000s, started by Eric Garza, Sergio Garza, and Pepe Elizondo. They were playing Mexican regional music, and their first album came out in 2007. It was called 'Digas lo que digas,' which is also the name of one of their better-known songs.
That song 'Digas lo que digas' got some attention, enough that another group accused them of copying the melody around 2011. The band denied it. They kept putting out albums like 'Mi Mejor Recuerdo' in 2010 and 'Ahora' in 2014.
They released another album called 'Déjame Reintentarlo' in 2017.
