Tracks

Tracks formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2004 with Arnaldo Antunes on vocals, Chico César on guitar, Carlos Trilha on bass, and Marcelo Costa on drums. Their debut album 'Todas as Canções' came out that same year, mixing various Brazilian styles into something that caught people's attention right away.

They followed up with 'Objeto Direto' in 2006, then 'Trilhas Sonoras' in 2009, which was mostly instrumental. By 2012's 'Pra Ser Leve' they'd returned to more melodic territory, and in 2016 they released 'Voz e Violão,' an acoustic set that included songs like 'Com Ou Sem Você' and 'Tudo Vai Passar' in stripped-down arrangements.

In 2008 the band dealt with some copyright issues, and their lyrics have sometimes touched on political themes that stirred discussion. They kept recording through it, putting out albums every few years without much fuss about commercial peaks or dramatic reinventions.
