Trees Of Eternity

Trees of Eternity was a Swedish metal project that released one album in 2013. The band featured Mikael Åkerfeldt from Opeth on guitar and vocals from Aleah Starbridge, whose voice gave songs like 'A Million Tears' and 'Broken Mirror' their particular weight. Their music had a slow, atmospheric quality that leaned toward doom metal, with Åkerfeldt's guitar work providing a dark, melodic foundation.

Starbridge left the group in 2017, which effectively ended the project. The band's self-titled debut remains their only full-length release, containing the tracks 'My Requiem,' 'Sinking Ships,' and 'The Passage.' It's a record that feels complete in its own right, a single statement rather than the start of a longer career.
