Trialogo

The band was led by vocalist and composer Zé Geraldo, with early members including guitarist Chico Pinheiro and bassist Tereza Souza. Their music often faced censorship due to lyrics that questioned authority and social conditions.

In 1979, they released the album 'Piano na Mangueira,' which featured the title track that became one of their most recognized songs. The track's image of a piano standing in a precarious slum neighborhood resonated with listeners as a quiet statement of resilience. The album earned them the Prêmio Sharp de Música award for Best Folk Album the following year.

Over time, the band's lineup shifted, with musicians like guitarist Otávio Henrique, bassist Lula Galvão, and drummer Lucas Lima joining at various points. They continued recording through the 1980s and 1990s, releasing albums such as 'Fogo e Fumaça' and 'A Arca de Noé,' while maintaining a blend of Brazilian rhythms with folk and rock elements.

Trialogo performed live into the 2000s, including a 2005 concert at Rio de Janeiro's Circo Voador venue that was released as an album. Zé Geraldo remained the consistent creative presence throughout these changes.
