Their music mixed traditional forró rhythms with pop and rock sounds, which drew some criticism from purists who felt it was too commercial. They kept at it anyway, releasing albums like 'Tribalista 2' in 2005 and 'Tribalista 3' in 2012. Other songs in their catalog include 'Alguém Me Disse' and 'Ciumenta.'
In 2005, the group got tangled in a legal dispute with a former member over the use of their music. The case lingered for years. More recently, in 2018, they faced accusations of plagiarism. They put out 'Tribalista 4' in 2019.
