Trillville was an Atlanta hip-hop trio that came together in the early 2000s. Their 2004 single "Some Cut" became a street anthem with its raw depiction of urban life, helping push them into the mainstream. The group's sound leaned into Southern hip-hop with trap elements, heard on tracks like "Get Some Crunk In Yo System" and "Cutty Buddy."
They released a few albums through the mid-2000s, including "The King of Crunk and BME Recordings Present: Trillville" in 2004 and "Trillville & Mannie Fresh Present: The Streets" two years later. Their lyrics often drew criticism for being explicit, and the group faced some legal troubles during this period.
By 2007, original member Co-D had left, and the remaining members continued performing under the Trillville name for a while. Their music captured a particular moment in Atlanta's hip-hop scene, with songs like "Bitch Niggaz" and "Gone" reflecting the gritty style they were known for.
